Varieties entering Scanturf trials in 202320.03.2023

In spring/summer 2023, new Scanturf trials for evaluation of varieties for lawns will be establisehd at Landvik (Norway), Tystofte (Denmark) and Ylistaro (Finland).At all locations, a total of 22 new candidate varieties / breeding lines of Lolium perenne (8 candidates), Poa pratensis (5 candidates), Festuca rubra ssp. commutata (2 candidates), Festuca rubra ssp. Litoralis (3 candidates), Festuca rubra ssp. Rubra (3 candidates) and Agrostis stolonifera (1 candidate) will be tested.

At Landvik, an additionl optional wear trial with 10 varietes of Poa pratensis (3 candidates) and Lolium perenne (7 candidates) will also be established.
